There are a number of areas from which an application may be kicked off at
boot-up.

Run MSCONFIG and untick the application

Go into C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Start Menu\Programs\Startup (where
xxx represents a number of folders) and delete the shortcut to the
application

Run REGEDIT and delete from there. It is less likely that you will find it
in the Registry and registry is NOT a place to make any changes unless you
are absolutely sure you know what you're doing.

Regards.
