I transfered documents from my computer to CD. When they transferred to CD
they became Read Only Documents. How do I change this on the CD so I can
edit as needed?

Archived from groups: per prev. post (more info?)

All files and folders on CDs are Read-only. Copy your file(s) to your hard
drive first, make your changes, then send them back to the CD.

You can't change the CD once it's been finalized.

The solution here is to copy the documents back to your hard drive and from there change the "read-only" attribute so that you can edit them.
