have you a firewall protection or antivirus, if so they
often interfere with downloads..

I have the same problem since I have installed XP SP2. I
have no firewall and have even tried with the XP SP2
Firewall disabled. My friend hasn't installed SP2. Can it
come from this ? It also cuts the connection when my
friend launch a remote assistance. All this used to work
before.
