I am running XP Pro SP2 that came with my Alienware laptop. I have sound for
the rest of my computer, but none in IE7.

Looking for a Sound - I use the AOL sound "You have mail" in Outlook Express. I am looking for a sound of the same quality as the message played when a calendar reminder opens. I would like it to say "You have a message" or "You have an appointment...

no sound on dvd - when i play a dvd in media player or winamp i get a picture but no sound. if i play an audio cd the sound works fine. DVDs used to play fine but i have no idea why they dont now. i have tried using the windows xp troubleshoot section for sound but..

no sound - I have no sound,when I try to install drivers it will find it but when installing it sais cannot continue with installation and it doesn't give any error codes or anything,iI have tried a few times to install drivers.and help would be good thanks

no sound - I just bught a new Dell B130 laptop. I have had it for about two weeks, and yesterday the sound stopped working. I have tried using external speakers, but they still dont work. I ran the diagnostics and start up and everything was fine until it asked me....
