Post subject: How to stop "new hardware found"
I have connected ALL usb devices to a usb hub.

I have 2 computers and whichever one I use I plug this hub to computers usb port. Everything is fine.

On one of the computers I have NOT installed HP Scanner. Whenever I use this computer, "new hardwar found...." pops up. I have to cancel and then continue.

I know I can disconnect scnner and thereby avoid popup.

Is there a simpler way.

Disable the plug and play service.

I was looking someway to selectively block.
