Unfortunately since you do not have a backup, you need to start from
scratch. How many users do you have? Has your company been down since
posting this info?

I have 15 users...the company has been able to still access the citrix server
and run the application and shared files. I guess this is done through the
wkst cache...

That's why I've been trying to figured out all my options before acting.

when you say start from scratch - can I still keep the same Domain name.
How is that going to effect my current connectivity? I'm wondering if I
will need to re-publish my Citrix apps? The DC sever that I recovered - I'm
wondering if I need to re-install it or just add that as a DC? It now is a
workgroup - everything is still on it - I really would rather not format it
if possible.

Many thanks.

Yes you can keep the same name. The recovered DC is not a DC anymore, just a
server. I belive you mean by everything still on it is the files, etc.

You don;t really have much choice. The original domain is gone. Therefore,
you will need to disjoin and rejoin all machine including the Citrix box. I
believe you can disjoin it to a workgroup, restart and then rejoin it to the
new domain. I believe you will get everything back without needing to
republish. I would check your Citrix support to find out for sure.

No problem for the help, albeit not the answers you really wanted to hear.
