To reiterate again and I'll try to be clear as I possibly can. You
say open C:\Windows\System in Run. I can do that. You say or open
C:Windows\System in Windows Explorer and drag the file Cpuinfo.dll
into it. Meaning of course the "System" file under Windows. Again.
I do not know where This cpuinfo.dll file is. The computer message
that I get says when trying to download a specific Video Player says
(cpuinfo.dll file is missing & is a required file)! It's missing!
I am a novice in this area of computer, or am I missing something?

Is it possible that someone can tell me where the file is located at!
Is it located within the column of files & folders in Explore Or do I
have to type the file in a specific location to create it; then drag
it. Do I have to purchase the file again in one of the many Web sites
that charge. Please sequence in order of where the file is, then I
can locate & possible drag it or possibly bring it up in Run, when I
type in C:\Windows\System? Please be specific in total. In order,
step / 1 / 2 / 3/ ect. Please Sequence step by step of how to
put the missing cpuinfo.dll file where it belongs back on my
computer
Thanks again!

If it's missing, you have to find it somewhere.

For instance:
http://www.dynamiclink.nl/htmfiles/rframes/info_dll/info_c/1456.htm
http://www.dlldll.com/dllfiles/C_page24.html
http://www.down-dll.com/index.html?frameA=dll_C
http://www.windll.com/library-c_1500.php

Note that the reason you need this file may be that the program you are
trying to run is not compatible with Windows 95.

If you don't have it, then follow the links Jeff has given you.
It is not a standard file in Win95 and the video player may not work
with Win95. Check it first.
