How do you enable Remote Desktop Connection in Windows 2000? I installed the
W2000 RDC client and that is working. I want to connect to a W2000 machine
remotely with RDC.

You can't under Win2000, only under WinXP Professional
and Windows Servers. Use a third-party product such as
WinVNC.

Hello,

Pegasus, I have read about a RDP Web Active X using IIS and a Server to
receive the request for the Win2000 computer. Do you have any information or
experience with this option that would allow a remote desktop to a 2000
client?

If possibel provide feedback.

Thanks,

Isvet

These claims pop up at regular intervals but I have never
seen a post that substantiated the claim. So far all of the
posters were confused about the roles of "RDP Server"
and "RDP Client". AFAIK, you cannot run the Terminal
Server service on a Win2000 machine, hence you cannot
use it as an RDP host.
