Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>group_policy (more info?)

I would like to use a GPO - WMI filter to apply only if a specific
registry(DWORD value) is present. Is this possible??

Yes. Create an own MOF File, apply it by computer startup script
and after that your own WMI entry is created
