Uninstall Win Me back to what? You can only uninstall an OS if it was
installed as an upgrade of an earlier OS and when upgrading you chose to
retain the previous OS and haven't since deleted the uninstall files.

Perhaps it would help if you explained what it is you are trying to do.
Office XP is an application, Win Me is an operating system. Applications
run on operating systems.

You have a choice, you can either upgrade your operating system to a new
operating system provided that it is a later version than the one you are
using and there is a supported upgrade path or you can clean install a new
operating system.

You do not need to uninstall Windows ME in order to install Office XP. If,
on the other hand, you want to install WINDOWS XP, that's a different story.
Which is it that you're trying to do? Install Office XP or Windows XP?
