Post subject: Lost Drive
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>win2000>security (more info?)

I have just replaced a burnt out external USB disk drive with a new one
in the same enclosure. The device manager can see the drive and tells
me that it needs initialising and that it is working. How do I do this
as it is not being shown in 'MY COMPUTER'?
I have a DELL DIMENSION 3100C running XP HOME if that makes any
difference
