I've got to reload Outlook Express because of a problem with msoe.dll, I can
only reload it from the cd that came with the pc that was bought in June
2000. How can I get any patches or updates that were issued since 2000?

Thank you
John H

In the same way that it has always been possible, that is, from the
Windows Update site.

How do you intend reinstalling just Outlook Express from the Win Me CD?
Or do you mean that you intend extracting a new copy of msoe.dll from the
Win Me cab set on the CD (it is in WIN_13.CAB) or perhaps that you are
going to reinstall Win Me. If the latter be very careful about
reinstalling Win Me over itself if you have upgraded to using IE6 and or
Windows Media Player 9. If either of these are true special steps need to
be taken before reinstalling Win Me such as uninstalling IE6 via
Add/Remove Programs and renaming the WMP file wmploc.dll to wmploc.old.

What exactly is the problem you are having with msoe.dll that leads you to
thinking that you need to reinstall Outlook Express? What errors are you
seeing?
