If you're running ME, you need the ME installation files. The one from Win98
will not do. This gives you a list of files in the ME installation package
and you need them all.

Have you searched your system for BASE2.CAB, in case it got accidentally
moved? Can you get the missing file(s) from the person who did the upgrade
(said person should have provided you a copy of the disk used to do the
upgrade.) Anyway, you need all of the files and once you have them you
should burn a CD or two with all of the mentioned files. If you ever have to
reinstall the system, if the hard drive goes bad, for instance, you will be
out of luck otherwise.
