it seems hardlinks don't work

Hallo

i tried
FSUTIL hardlink create hardlink_name.ext original_source.txt

but it doesn't seem to work as expected:

when i modify using the supposed hardlink, the source and the hardlink are
different... like two different copies

i've tried in win2000 sp4 and xp sp2
