My wireless connection keeps logging on and off??? I have have windows xp sp2. Dlink wireless g router. connected with cable modem. And i've tried another router and another connection. still the same???
I've updated the firware. Confused?

I had the same problem a couple years ago. Mine was related to a setting on my wireless router, with regards to the lease time that the DHCP server held the IP address (my cable Internet provider issues my router a new IP address every few days). When the IP address would change, my connection would drop. I got in the habit every few days of resetting the router via a little pin hole in the back of the box. However, when I changed my lease time setting to "forever", the problem occurred a LOT less often. It still happens on occassion, but usually only once or twice a month, if even that.
